About The Position

This is a PRN (As Needed) position for Inpatient Psychiatry, primarily located at the College Hill campus, with potential work at Eastgate, Norwood, and Green Township Partial Hospitalization Programs, and the Lindner Center of Hope inpatient unit. The role involves working a minimum of two shifts per month, not exceeding 30 hours in two weeks. The position is for individuals experiencing acute mental illness, with an average length of stay of 5-7 days. PRN Social Workers do not carry a caseload and typically work with a ratio of 1 social worker to 4 patients. A robust onboarding process, including shadowing, New Employee Orientation, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) Training, and meetings with the Department Educator and Coordinator, is provided.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work
• Licensed Social Worker in the State of Ohio

Benefits

• Weekend Differential: $5.00/hour for working Saturday and Sunday; added to base pay.
