Social Worker - BSW
About The Position
Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights is seeking a passionate Social Worker (BSW) to join their team and improve behavioral health in the community. This full-time role involves providing psychiatric care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental disorders. The hospital is new and features an Intensive Outpatient Program. The Social Worker will be instrumental in providing quality patient care through social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. This role includes leading groups and working one-on-one with patients, as well as participating in multi-disciplinary treatment teams to improve patient lives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution (BSW minimum)
- One (1) year experience in an acute behavioral health setting preferred

Responsibilities
- Completing psychosocial assessments and treatment plans
- Leading individual, family, and groups
- Coordinating discharge and aftercare planning
- Supporting community outreach and education efforts
