Requirements

  • Master's degree (or higher degree) in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.
  • One year of specialized experience which includes conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations; providing individual or group treatment; developing discharge and treatment plans; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • A current, active, valid, and unrestricted independent social work clinical licensure from a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

  • Collect bio-psychosocial information about patients using interview, case history, observation techniques, and assessment methods.
  • Provide individual and/or group psychotherapy.
  • Work with the multi-disciplinary team to develop disposition planning.
  • Function as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, presenting internal reports and participating in patient evaluation and treatment planning.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness and make adjustments to patient's treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Utilize electronic health record systems to document and review patient data.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
