About The Position
The Social Worker LMSW/LCSW PRN provides clinical social work services for patients and their families. Responsible for psychosocial assessment, discharge planning for patients with complex psychosocial and medical problems. Assists patients and their families in coping with difficulties related to hospital admission, illness, treatment and discharge.
Requirements
- Licensed as LCSW by the Louisiana Board of Social Work Examiners.
- Must have good communication (oral and written), conflict management, organizational and planning skills.
- Must be able to utilize the hospital computer system as it relates to the Social Services Department.
- Must have/acquire a working knowledge of significant community resources.
