About The Position

Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania is seeking a Social Worker to provide services in our Philadelphia Early Intervention and Preschool Special Education programs. The Social Worker will support families in navigating community and educational services, ensuring they have access to resources and supports. This role involves managing new referrals and the intake process, providing social work services that address family needs and strengthen the home-school connection, and participating on IEP teams as needed. The Social Worker will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including teachers, therapists, and administrators to promote holistic child and family outcomes and advocate for families to ensure continuity of care and equal access to community supports. This position provides the opportunity to make a direct and lasting impact on children and families through compassionate service and advocacy.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
  • Strong communication and family engagement skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Nice To Haves

  • Pennsylvania Social Work license (LSW or LCSW) preferred.
  • Experience with early childhood, special education, or disability services strongly preferred.
