About The Position

Hampton Behavioral Health Center is a private behavioral healthcare center offering advanced behavioral health and diagnostic treatment services for adults, adolescents, and older adults through inpatient and outpatient programs. The center is committed to excellence in diagnosis, treatment, and education. This role is for a Per Diem Inpatient Social Worker responsible for monitoring patients' mental and psycho-social needs, providing services to meet these needs, and helping patients achieve or maintain their highest practical level of well-being. The Social Worker will coordinate and manage patient services to create individualized programs with specific goals, act as a liaison for patients, families, and staff, and oversee daily operations to ensure successful patient outcomes. Responsibilities include clinical assessment, treatment of designated patients on assigned units, discharge planning, and participation in multidisciplinary treatment teams. The role requires assessing age-specific needs and providing age-specific treatment and care, as well as conducting individual, family, and group therapy to encourage open communication, verbalization of feelings, increased self-awareness, and problem resolution.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work
  • Licensure as a social worker in the State of New Jersey required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years clinical expertise in individual, group, family and marital therapy.
  • Previous experience in case management discharge planning.
  • Strong writing and communications skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experiencce with Dual Diagnose and/or Addiction Medicine
  • Psychiatric inpatient experience preferred

Responsibilities
