About The Position
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Social Worker for its clients Learning Disabilities & Autism Team at Darlington. This role involves completing Care Act-compliant assessments tailored to individuals with learning disabilities and autism, focusing on strengths, communication needs, risks, and eligibility for support. You will develop and review personalised support plans that promote independence, choice, community inclusion, and positive risk-taking, working closely with families and advocates. Additionally, you will lead safeguarding enquiries, manage complex behaviours or vulnerabilities, and coordinate multi-agency responses with health, education, and specialist LD services.
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
