About The Position

Three Rivers Behavioral Health is a 136-bed treatment facility that specializes in quality behavioral health and substance abuse services for adolescents and adults. We offer a full continuum of care through an integrated system of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. This is a Per-Diem (PRN) position. The Social Worker will provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to adolescent and/or adult psychiatric patient population and their families, spouse, significant other. The role serves as a member of an interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy and assures the deliverance of quality treatment to psychiatric patients and their families.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Social Work or equivalent master’s degree in a recognized mental health field.
One year experience strongly preferred.
LMSW, LISW in South Carolina preferred.

Responsibilities

Develops and maintains effective working relationships with NARC, Admissions, the Business Office, Physicians, and Nursing staff.
Conducts psychosocial assessments to document history and identify preliminary issues for treatment focus by interviewing the patient and their family members.
Provides group and family process-oriented therapies as well as conducts educational and other didactic groups for patients and family members using various professional treatment modalities.
Initial discharge plan formulated and noted on psychosocial with 72 hours of admission.
