About The Position

A CES Whitney Academy is seeking a caring and dynamic School Social Worker to join a team of educators dedicated to working with a diverse population of students with special needs. This is a 10-month position. The role requires the ability to manage a caseload, collaborate closely with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, possess knowledge of community resources, and demonstrate a deep care for children.

Requirements

• CT certification (071) School Social Worker required
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong computer skills

• Applicant with strong clinical experience desired
• Demonstrated ability and desire to support High School students in the areas of decision making, independence, responsibility and self-advocacy
