About The Position

Albuquerque Talent Development Academy Charter High School seeks a passionate, team player for the 2026-2027 school year as a Part-Time Social Worker (0.4 FTE). This role will support students with social-emotional needs, IEP goals, and other areas as determined by the wellness team. The ideal candidate loves to serve their community and continuously seeks ways to support the school’s prevention interventions.

Requirements

• Must have a New Mexico School Social Worker License.
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual is a plus but not required.
• Previous school and/or community experience preferred.
• Previous experience in working with bilingual families.
• Proven track record of helping students overcome barriers.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with the Principal ensure compliance with IEP’s, goals, and reporting.
• Works independently to ensure student records and notes are updated as needed.
• Works closely with the wellness team to monitor attendance, behavior, and other SEL intervention needs.
• Works closely with staff to provide training/resources as needed.
• Other duties as assigned based on student needs
