Hennepin County's Mental Health Center (MHC) within Human Services Public Health has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Psychiatric Social Worker to provide outpatient clinical assessment and treatment services as a member of the MHC’s multidisciplinary treatment team. This position will support Adult & Youth Outpatient Substance Use Programming, which includes facilitation of group therapy. The Mental Health Center is a state Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) dedicated to offering wide-ranging mental health and substance use disorder care. The MHC’s team of support and provider professionals provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services to adults with serious mental illness as well as those with co-occurring substance use disorders. Additionally, the MHC serves children, adolescents, and families, many of whom are involved with other county programs. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, with typical hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evenings. This is a full-time, benefit-earning position.
