Provide direct clinical services on multidisciplinary team which include individual, group, family therapy in our Adult Partial Hospitalization Program. Conduct treatment and discharge planning and complete all required documentation in timely manner. Knowledge of psychiatric illness and experience with psychotherapy required. Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies, hospital studies, committees, tasks forces, and Continuing Quality Improvement (CQI) projects. This is a full-time day shift Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm position working at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Requirements
- Knowledge of psychiatric illness and experience with psychotherapy required.
- New York State Licensed Master Social Worker and/or Limited Permit Master Degree in Social Work
- Knowledge of Psychosocial Assessment & strong communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the treatment of psychiatric patients including running groups and working with families
- Knowledge of CBT & DBT and experience working with families
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
