About The Position
New York-Presbyterian/Queens, located in Flushing, Queens, is a community teaching hospital affiliated with Weill Cornell Medicine. They are seeking a Social Worker for their Oncology office. This role involves providing a variety of psychosocial services, coordinating discharge planning and continuum of care for patients and families, and assisting them in enhancing their coping mechanisms for illness and daily functioning. The position is a day shift, Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM.
Requirements
- At least one year of Oncology experience
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)
- New York State License as a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
