About The Position
The Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is seeking a passionate Social Worker MSW to join their team and improve behavioral health in the community. This role is instrumental in providing quality patient care, with advanced skills in social assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning. The Social Worker will lead primary treatment modalities, group, family, and individual therapies. As a multi-disciplinary team member, they are expected to participate in community outreach programs, host-facility relationships, and education. The Center for Behavioral Health Osage Beach is an 18-bed inpatient, free-standing Adult Psychiatric hospital specializing in treating Anxiety, Major Depression, Mood disturbances, Psychosis, and other mental health illnesses. NHC sees itself as a partner with the surrounding community, providing psychiatric care to adult patients requiring inpatient hospitalization due to mental health illnesses.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited school of social work; or Member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
- Documented training related to the primary population served within the past year.
- Eligible and acceptable to meet the expectations of the Hospital.
Nice To Haves
- At least one (1) year experience in an acute behavioral health setting preferred.
