About The Position

DaVita is looking for a Social Worker (MSW) with experience working with dialysis patients. You will be based out of our Columbus Downtown Dialysis in Columbus, OH. As a Licensed Social Worker at DaVita, you’ll be a part of a Team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority. Social workers are responsible for the psychosocial health and wellbeing for our patients so we support those needs, providing interventions as needed and complete mandatory assessments, screenings and education. Our social workers typically have a caseload of around 115-125 patients however that’s spread between clinics so it’s not that a social work sees that many patients every day. This position includes two clinics but other than going to your assigned clinics there’s usually a social worker meeting at most 1 per quarter. Dialysis patients have a lot to adjust to and need a strong social worker to support them. Being able to work independently is very important but there is a lot of support on the social work side. Requirements

Experience working with ESRD/Dialysis patients.
Meets all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting.
Hold an LSW licensure within the state.
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required with a specialization in clinical practice.
Demonstrated knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
Basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.
