SUMMARY OF JOB This position is responsible for providing social service functions in the behavioral health care setting. Provides assessments, treatments and case management to patients and families. Is a resource person to healthcare professionals concerning psycho-social problems and community resources. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities. Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania
- Masters Degree in Social Work
- Two or more years of previous experience in all aspects of social services with an emphasis in individual, group and family therapy
- One hour of annual stroke education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- License in Social Work in the state of Pennsylvania
