About The Position

Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS) is an award-winning, nonprofit, nonsectarian human services organization founded in 1943. Today, it is the largest provider of licensed outpatient community behavioral health services and one of the largest human service agencies in Westchester County. WJCS delivers innovative programs and services and compassionate care to more than 20,000 people of all ages and backgrounds each year. This is an exciting professional growth opportunity in the field of children’s mental health. We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Social Worker to join our dynamic, team-oriented Mobile Mental Health Family Matters Program. This is an exciting opportunity for Social Workers/Mental Health Counselors who are passionate about children’s mental health and community-based services. The compensation range is $60,000-$75,000, and we offer an additional $5,000 for candidates who are bilingual in English/Spanish.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related clinical field.
  • Eligible for or in possession of NYS licensure (LMSW/LCSW/LMHC).
  • Ability to travel to different sites in the community; Access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • Experience working with youth with mental health needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations.
  • Collaborative and adaptable professional who values continuous learning and teamwork.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical and case management services in community-based settings, including homes, schools, and other off-site locations.
  • Developing, implementing, and updating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation and required agency reports (e.g., clinician schedules, progress notes, treatment plans).
  • Monitoring treatment goals and updating treatment plans on a regular basis.
  • Collaborating with community partners, schools, and other service providers to ensure coordinated care.
  • Providing crisis intervention and support as needed.
