This role provides social work services to psychiatric patients and their families, including consultation and collaboration with appropriate resource persons. Acts as primary therapist in the group treatment of patients.
Requirements
- MSW from an accredited school of Social Work.
- Minimum of two years clinical experience working in a psychiatric institution.
- Experience facilitating and/or participating in group therapy sessions.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- LCSW required.
- BLS required.
- Assaultive Behavior Training Certification that meets AB508 and SB1299 required upon hire/transfer.
- New hires that have completed Assaultive Behavior training outside of Emanate Health will be required to complete Emanate Health Work Place Violence online awareness module within 30 days of hire/transfer.
Responsibilities
- Provides social work services to psychiatric patients and their families, including consultation and collaboration with appropriate resource persons.
- Acts as primary therapist in the group treatment of patients.
