This position will support Inpatient Social Work needs for patients and families. The Inpatient Social Worker will work a 10 hour shift. As Northwest Arkansas' premiere hospice provider, we operate two beautiful inpatient hospice care facilities and offer outpatient hospice services for Benton, Washington, Madison, and Carroll counties. Circle of Life is the largest and most respected hospice in the area, serving the region as a top not-for-profit organization for more than 30 years. The Social Worker is an integral part of the Interdisciplinary team, responsible for the development and oversight of a plan of care for an assigned group of patients'/families' psychosocial, financial, and emotional needs. Provides coverage for the inpatient and/or outpatient Hospice program as needed. Liaisons with community resources to find support for the patient/families as needed. Assists with mentoring of interns and other students. Assists with facilitating bereavement programs as needed. All Social work care will be delivered under the guidance of the best standard of practice, COL's policy and procedure and the Arkansas Social Work licensure board.
