About The Position

Under supervision of a licensed clinician, the Social Work Clinician I provides general casework services to members served and natural supports. This involves person-centered recovery planning and collaborating with other services and agencies. The Court Collaborative Program provides mental health and substance use disorder services to adult participants in eight Alameda county treatment courts. This team supports participants with assessment and case management services. We link our participants with appropriate SUD and mental health services; support them with their treatment goals and maintain communication with the court team as related to their progress on these goals. The Court Collaborative Team leads collaborative court hearings and provides consultation and training as related to supporting our participants' treatment needs. We work in close collaboration with our many court partners including judges, attorneys, probation and parole officers, and representatives from the Veterans Administration and the Department of Children and Family Services. Our primary goal is to ensure that our participants have access to treatment in order to graduate from treatment court and successfully exit the criminal justice and/or DCFS systems.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or psychology from an accredited college or university
  • Demonstrated experience with behavioral health services
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certified on date of employment or within 60 days of employment and maintain current certification throughout employment
  • All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Valid and current driver’s license, and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
  • Willingness to use your personal vehicle to attend meetings, etc. (weekly mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate)
