About The Position

This role focuses on providing individual counselling, conducting psychosocial assessments, delivering group workshops, and coordinating case management services for children and adolescents. The Social Worker will also build collaborative relationships with caregivers and community partners, provide coaching and support, maintain client documentation, and ensure compliance with agency policies and legislative requirements. Participation in team meetings, program development, and community outreach is also expected.

Requirements

  • Masters of Social Work or equivalent related degree
  • Registered member of OCSWSSW in good standing
  • Minimum of 3 years related clinical experience
  • Understanding of and commitment to the Agency’s client centric approach

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Matrix and other data management systems is a strong asset.
  • Knowledge and/or expertise in specific clinical therapeutic interventions, such as Motivational Interviewing, Brief Therapy, CBT, and/or group psychotherapy
  • Comprehension of French or another language will be considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual counselling using evidence-based approaches tailored to clients' unique needs.
  • Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop client-centered service plans, including crisis intervention, referrals, and ongoing support.
  • Deliver group workshops and psychoeducational programs.
  • Coordinate case management services by connecting clients with internal and community resources and advocating on their behalf.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with caregivers, community partners, and external service providers.
  • Provide coaching and practical support to clients and families, including financial literacy and budgeting guidance when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate client documentation, case notes, and required reporting in accordance with agency and legislative requirements.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, program development, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies, professional standards, privacy legislation (PHIPA), and health and safety requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
