About The Position

As a Social Worker Supervisor, you will provide clinical and administrative supervision to professional social work staff, oversee the delivery of behavioral health services, and ensure quality, compliance, and continuity of care. In addition to supervising staff, you may provide consultation and support for complex cases involving individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, helping to ensure clients receive comprehensive, person-centered services. Requirements

  • Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW) or a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • A master's degree in social work
  • Four years of social services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, mentor, and evaluate licensed and unlicensed social work staff.
  • Review documentation for quality, completeness, and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Provide clinical consultation and guidance on complex behavioral health cases.
  • Provide direct treatment services to clients including individual, group, and family counseling.
  • Interview and assess clients who require immediate or emergency behavioral health services to determine appropriate interventions and referrals.
  • Prepare, review, and submit required statistical, clinical, and operational reports.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to facilitate continuity of care and effective treatment plan.
