About The Position

The Social Work Clinical Manager will provide leadership and coaching to approximately 30 social workers in inpatient and outpatient pediatric units. This role involves developing goals, policies, and educational programs, while mentoring and supporting the team. The manager will also be a resource for daily operations, resolving issues, overseeing staffing, and ensuring new employees are well-oriented. Additionally, the position drives hiring, retention, onboarding, performance management, and employee development, partnering with HR and leadership to build high-performing teams and ensure compliance with organizational policies. Staying updated on regulatory requirements and accreditation standards, and leading projects from start to finish to align with organizational priorities are also key aspects of this role.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) required.
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker-Supervisor (LISW-S) in the State of Ohio required.
  • 3 years experience required.
  • Previous experience with leadership and management competencies highly desired: project management, performance management, interviewing & training, disciplinary processes, et. al.
  • Previous experience in health care setting preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • 5-8 yrs experience strongly preferred.
