About The Position
This position involves teaching social studies classes at the high school level. The teacher will collaborate with a team of educators to plan curriculum, activities, interdisciplinary units, and special projects. A willingness to share supervisory responsibilities is also essential.
Requirements
- Massachusetts certification in appropriate subject area.
- Previous secondary teaching experience.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Socratic approach and to incorporate thinking skills in instruction.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in subject area curriculum development preferred.
- Some computer literacy and familiarity with educational software preferred.
