About The Position
The Social Studies Teacher will be responsible for teaching dual credit/studies through EPCC. This position requires knowledge of the core academic subject assigned, curriculum, and instruction. The teacher will instruct students, manage their behavior, and utilize strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- At least one year student teaching or approved internship
- Master's degree in Government and Economics (History/Social studies)
- Must be able to teach Dual credit/studies through EPCC.
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned
- Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
- Ability to instruct student and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Copy of College/University transcript with applicable degree posted
- Copy of Texas teaching certificate with required endorsement (Or) Copy of letter of acceptance/eligibility from alternative certification program (AND) copy of content exams
- Current Resume
- TX Driver's license
