About The Position
American Straight A Academy (ASAA) is seeking part-time remote high school science teachers to teach globally with flexible work hours. ASAA is a fast-growing international online school that delivers American high school education to students worldwide. The open subjects include AP Human Geography at the high school level. Classes are scheduled in Eastern Time, with options for Sunday/Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday from 9:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The teaching commitment is flexible, with no upper limit on hours, depending on teacher availability within the provided schedule options. The role involves teaching engaging 1-on-1 or small group (2-6 students) online classes, delivering lessons using structured teaching materials, and tracking student progress with timely post-class feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above
- At least 1 year of teaching experience in a related subject area
- Strong communication skills and a professional teaching attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and consistent in teaching delivery
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree preferred
- High school experience preferred
Responsibilities
