About The Position
This is a 0.60 FTE contract position for a Social Studies 6, 7, 8, and Science 7 teacher at Tobique Valley High School. The Science 7 role is for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday only. The contract is for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants will be contacted by the principal and/or Director of Schools to discuss position details and transitional support. Hiring will follow the order specified in Article 61.03 and 61.05 of the Collective Agreement: Teachers with Recall Rights, Certified Teachers (without recall rights), and Supply teachers with a Local Permit. Applicants are required to upload a single PDF document containing a cover letter, resume, most recent performance review, transcripts, and 3 references, including their most recent supervisor.
Requirements
- Certified Teacher status (or recall rights, or supply teacher with a Local Permit).
- Ability to teach Social Studies 6, 7, 8.
- Ability to teach Science 7 (M-W-F Only).

Responsibilities
- Teach Social Studies 6, 7, and 8.
- Teach Science 7 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
