About The Position
This is a three-month contract travel position in the Case Management department at an acute care facility in Mission Viejo, California. The position carries a caseload of 20–23 patients and is onsite. The role has a variable five-day workweek; the department operates seven days per week, so days off vary and are not guaranteed to be consecutive, though efforts will be made to schedule consecutive days off when possible. The position may require floating to the Laguna facility. First-time travelers will not be considered. A California state license is not required. The shift is 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., five eight-hour days.
Requirements
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree.
- At least one full year of acute care experience.
- Prior travel or contract experience; first-time travelers will not be accepted.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer; visa sponsorship or transfer is not available.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of 20–23 patients in the Case Management department of an acute care facility.
- Float to the Laguna facility as required.
- Work a variable five-day schedule in a department that operates seven days per week.
