About The Position
We are looking for a passionate Social Services Manager to plan, coordinate and implement the overall emotional and social needs program for residents. This position encompasses supervising Social Services Assistants, assuring that all residents and families are fully informed concerning "residents rights", providing individual and family counseling and case management services to individuals and families when necessary, and providing consultation to team members, community, and agencies in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the residents through the development of social service programs.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Social Work or combination of education and experience.
- Licensed by the State of Hawaii as a Social Worker
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a health care setting preferred
- Supervisory experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Supervises Social Services Assistants
- Assures that all residents and families are informed fully concerning "residents rights"
- Provides individual and family counseling and case management services to individuals and families when necessary.
- Provides consultation to members of the team, community, agencies, etc. in efforts to solve the needs and problems of the residents through the development of social service programs.
