About The Position
St. Francis Hospice is seeking a Social Services Manager to manage and coordinate the psychosocial, spiritual, and bereavement components of its hospice program. The manager provides orientation, technical direction, and clinical direction to chaplain, bereavement, and social work staff. St. Francis Hospice is a mission-driven healthcare organization providing hospice and palliative care services in the community.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited school.
- Bachelor’s education may be in a related field such as counseling, psychology, sociology, or gerontology.
- Certification in Hospice and Palliative Social Work required within one year of hire.
- Three to five years of experience in Social Work, including one year in hospice or care of the elderly in Home Health.
- One year of supervisory experience in a like or similar position in hospice, or two years of successful supervisory experience or equivalent in a healthcare organization.
