IMC is looking to hire a Social Services LCSW PRN for the new IMC Behavioral Health unit.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work for an accredited university
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Louisiana
• Current CPR/CPI Certification

Nice To Haves

• Two years experience in Behavioral Health preferred

Responsibilities

• Acts as a Licensed Mental Health Professional and shall be an active member of the interdisciplinary team, conducting at least but not limited to: assessment and screening, development of clinical Impressions and recommendations, treatment planning and treatment plan reviews, participation in team conferences, intake and referral, provision of individual group, family and couples counseling,; as well as supervision and other clinical duties.
• Monitors and evaluates the performance of the social services staff (including Activity Therapy) in order to ensure quality and appropriateness of social services furnished by the facility.
