About The Position

CAPSA is seeking a Social Services Director to provide leadership and oversight for our Social Services Department. This position is responsible for the day-to-day supervision, program management, and strategic direction of the Social Services team, including case managers, interns, and the Hospital Response Team. The ideal candidate understands the importance of coordinated, survivor-centered services and is passionate about supporting staff, strengthening programs, and fostering a collaborative team culture. Reporting to the Advocacy Division Director, you'll provide supervision and coaching, support program development, oversee compliance and documentation, collaborate with community partners, and help shape the delivery of high-quality client services. As a member of CAPSA's leadership team, you'll also contribute to agency-wide planning, policy development, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work or related field (licensure preferred), or a bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in advocacy, case management, victim services, or other human services settings.
  • Strong organizational, communication, supervision, and coaching skills.
  • The ability to lead programs and teams with accountability, empathy, and strategic thinking.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in domestic violence and sexual assault services.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff, interns, or volunteers.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365, client documentation systems, grant requirements and reporting, and trauma-informed service delivery.
  • A strong commitment to fostering team culture and supporting continuous improvement.
