GenPride strengthens the wellbeing, power, and belonging of LGBTQIA2S+ elders across Seattle and King County. We create welcoming spaces, programs, and connections that honor lived experience, promote equity, and celebrate growing older with pride. From our GenPride Center in Capitol Hill to partnerships throughout the county, we work to prevent isolation, advance justice, and cultivate community for LGBTQIA2S+ older adults. The Role The Social Services Coordinator is a skilled social services navigator, group facilitator, volunteer manager, and community liaison who thrives while working in dynamic, community-centered environments. This role ensures that LGBTQIA2S+ elders in Seattle/King County are aware of and can access resources that support their wellbeing, stability, and sense of belonging. The Social Services Coordinator provides direct 1:1 information and assistance, coordinates support groups, collaborates with community partners, and supports volunteers delivering services. at the GenPride Center and throughout King County. The schedule may include early morning, evening, and weekend hours. This position reports to the Program and Services Manager and collaborates closely with GenPride staff, partners, volunteers, and community members.
