MAG Aerospace is seeking a resourceful a Social Science Statistical Analyst to lead and conduct evaluations of OIE, mostly PSYOP, operational impact assessments utilizing a specialized expertise in data analysis and testing. NOTE: Work Location is McDill AFB, Tampa FL not Orlando

Requirements

  • Doctor of Philosophy degree in the field of Behavioral Science (Psychology, Anthropology, or related field).
  • A minimum of five years’ experience (within the last seven years) in social science or market research methodology, including data cleaning, processing, management, and statistical analysis.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience (within the last seven years) developing multivariate models and completing statistical analysis.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience using statistical analysis software applications.
  • A minimum of one year’ experience in a program evaluation role, applying social science research methodology and program evaluation techniques towards evaluating the impact of communication/messaging interventions.
  • A minimum of a one year’ experience working with SOF organizations or doctrine.
  • A minimum of one completed course in advanced higher education in program evaluation.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience (within the last seven years) conducting comparative analyses on data, including correlation, scatterplot, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), regression, response frequency, distribution of responses, outlier testing regression, A/B testing, and salience index.
  • Possess a TS clearance with eligibility for SCI and maintain the level of clearance to access facility.
  • The position is contingent upon candidate’s ability to meet physical and medical requirements as needed by the position; including compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local jurisdictional requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting statistical analysis on routinely collected assessment data, refining inputs for reporting, and testing applications for operational utility are the primary focus areas.
  • Supporting subordinate unit’s assessments through training material creation or offering insights for refining analytical models over time.
