About The Position

Key Essentials to Behavior Management Corp is seeking a Social Pod Leader with a High School Diploma to deliver direct ABA services in California and support Pods in Georgia. This part-time role reports to a Program Supervisor and offers compensation between $21-$23/hr in CA and $18-$20/hr in GA. The position is clinic-based with options for home and community sessions. While a High School diploma is required, RBT certification is supported and not initially required in CA, but is required for full scope in GA. KEBM supports the RBT pathway by covering the 40-hour training and supervision hours, with a pay increase upon passing the exam. This role is designed for individuals who want to perform direct clinical work and build towards an RBT certification that offers tangible career and compensation benefits.

Requirements

High school diploma required.
Ability to stay calm in dynamic situations and self-regulate.
Willingness to provide the same energy and respect to all clients, regardless of funding source or service type.
Physical ability to stand, walk, sit on the floor, transition between activities, and occasionally respond to challenging behaviors.
Ability to perform frequent (4-8 hours) sitting, standing, walking, simple grasping, reaching, bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting.
Ability to perform occasional (1-3 hours) keyboarding, fine manipulation, climbing stairs, and lifting/carrying 1-50 lbs.
Readiness to respond to crisis situations like elopement, aggression, and self-injury with training and backup.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience working with children, especially neurodiverse children.
Any ABA exposure (coursework, previous role, shadowing).
RBT certification already in progress.
Bilingual (Spanish).

Responsibilities

Deliver direct ABA services in California clinics, including running pod sessions, implementing treatment plans, collecting clinical data, and executing behavior protocols.
Support RBT-led ABA sessions in Georgia clinics, assisting with material handling, setups, and prompt/reinforcer delivery under RBT direction.
Lead non-ABA programming such as camps, open play at Sensory Spot locations, and enrichment classes independently within program design.
Collect accurate session data with a 24-hour turnaround time.
Collaborate with pod supervisors, BCBAs, and Clinic Managers, ensuring no client is managed solely outside of scope or training.
Participate in the RBT certification pathway, supported by KEBM for training and supervision hours.
Manage assigned staff ratios, typically 1:3, potentially extending to 1:4 or 1:5 for lower-behavior clients, as determined by Clinic Manager and clinical team.
Respond appropriately to challenging behaviors including aggression, elopement, and self-injury, with full training and supervisory backup.
