Social Networker for Music and Entertainment Magazine
About The Position
Music and entertainment magazine is currently seeking a Social Networker to assist with its online promotion and social media efforts. The Social Networker will collaborate with the music and entertainment departments to broaden mxdwn’s social media outreach, promoting regular content and helping the Editor-in-Chief with special assignments regarding new channel activation. Applicants should be well-versed in Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Spotify, Threads, Bluesky, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit and Pinterest. Marketing background preferred but not required. This is an exciting chance to immerse yourself in social media while interacting with both writers and readers.
Requirements
- Own computer
- Smart phone with Internet access
- Adept with modern social networking technologies
- Practical experience in social media, especially putting together videos and graphically based posts.
- Familiarity with Instagram, YouTube, Twitch, Spotify, Threads, Bluesky, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit and Pinterest.
Nice To Haves
- Marketing background preferred
- Degrees in Marketing, or similar fields are a plus.
