About The Position

VetClaims.ai is hiring a Social Media Support Specialist to engage with veterans across social media platforms. This role focuses on responding to comments and messages, providing clear and empathetic support, and ensuring a positive veteran experience in both public and private interactions. This is a customer support role on social media, not a content creation or marketing position.

Requirements

  • Experience in customer support, call center, or similar role
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Ability to handle difficult or emotional interactions professionally
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic computer proficiency (Google Workspace, Slack, or similar tools)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of VA claims or veteran-related services
  • Familiarity with CFR (Code of Federal Regulations)
  • Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, LinkedIn, X)
  • Experience with CRM or ticketing systems (HubSpot or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries across social media platforms
  • Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication
  • Move sensitive conversations to private channels when appropriate
  • Escalate complex or high-risk situations to leadership
  • Follow SOPs, response templates, and brand voice guidelines
  • Track trends, feedback, and recurring issues
  • Support ticket creation and documentation when needed
