About The Position

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our Americas marketing team to grow the social media presence for RWC’s family of brands. We are looking for someone who brings a spirit of creativity, has a strong understanding of social media, tools and trends, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is team oriented with a desire to learn and grow. Being “Chronically Online” is a plus! This person will be creating content for the blue-collar worker so strong understanding of brand voice, social trends and how to appropriately apply them is key. They will be responsible for helping create social media strategies across platforms along with the Content Marketing and Communications Manager, owning the social media content calendars, creating video-heavy content, and driving engagement through community management across platforms. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to create compelling content, grow our audience, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels. Opportunities for in-field content creation with sales, plumbers and the marketing team will be available year-round, so an entrepreneurial spirit is a must.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience - agency and/or industry experience is a plus.
  • Highly proficient in social media channels, including but not limited to: TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Experience shooting and editing short-form videos in platforms such as Instagram Edits, TikTok Studio and/or CapCut, Adobe, etc.
  • Comfortable using AI tools for developing first drafts of content, video editing, etc.
  • Ability to communicate complex topics into easy-to-understand content.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
  • Based in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy, with emphasis on TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, to meet marketing and business goals.
  • Manage and create engaging video-first content that is tailored for the various platforms, such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, adjusting as needed to optimize engagement and growth.
  • Monitor, manage and nurture our online community by responding to followers, managing online discussions and proactively engaging with brand advocates.
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, industry trends and competitor activity, using those insights to make recommendations and improvements to our social media and YouTube presence.
  • Be able to quickly learn and become knowledgeable on RWC products and the plumbing industry.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Sales and Engineering departments to stay updated on products and features, as well as become knowledgeable on RWC products and the plumbing industry.
