About The Position

We’re looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Toronto team. If you are interested in joining a group of passionate brand builders and working with some of the world’s most well-respected brands, we want to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to execute programs within the Consumer social space, while also working alongside an ambitious and growing national team. Our ideal candidate is a social native, tapped into emerging social trends, a deep understanding of the algorithm, is culturally fluent, and can create social-first written and visual content (captions, Reels, TikToks). We are looking for someone who loves what they do, values different perspectives, brings energy to their work and is excited to roll up their sleeves to help push our work even further. This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about content, digital trends, and community engagement, and eager to grow in a fast-paced agency environment.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or communications (agency experience is a plus)
  • Strong understanding of social platforms and content best practices
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Social content creation skills
  • A creative mindset and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with social media tools (e.g., Sprout, Hootsuite, Meltwater) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of social media strategies across client accounts
  • Create and publish engaging content across social platforms, such as Instagram and TikTok
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement, including monitoring comments and responding in a timely and on-brand manner
  • Conduct social listening and support reporting, helping identify insights and opportunities
  • Stay up to date on digital trends, platform updates, and emerging formats
  • Collaborate with internal teams (PR, creative, influencer, digital) to support integrated campaigns
