At Holley Performance Brands, our Social Media Specialist connects our brands to the communities, consumers, and personalities that define automotive performance and racing culture. We identify and activate high-impact content — from motorsports and industry events to creators and athletes — that build brand credibility, deepen enthusiast connection, and drive measurable business results. Working closely with Division Marketing, Brand Experience, and Go-To-Market teams, we ensure social media content is not just visibility plays, but fully integrated brand and product drivers across campaigns, content, and customer touchpoints. The Social Media Specialist supports our American Performance marketing team by coordinating, executing, and reporting on social media campaigns including, but not limited to: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other Social Media platforms. This individual should be keen on the development and execution of social media marketing strategies and creative campaigns related to performance and motorsport products. The Social Media Specialist for the American Performance Division is responsible for brands including: Holley, MSD Performance, Racepak, Nitrous Oxide Systems (NOS), AEM Electronics, + Additional Legacy Brands.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in social media account management
  • Experience with and knowledge of automotive products. (with focus on EFI, Ignition, and data acquisition)
  • Experience with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, TikTok and other Social Media platforms.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or similar work experience preferred.
  • Experience with the following software: Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas and processes in a simplified manner.
  • A good display of photography and videography skills utilizing a cell phone or DSLR camera.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to integrate partnerships into broader marketing initiatives

Nice To Haves

  • Experience within automotive, motorsport, or enthusiast-driven categories
  • Deep understanding of the automotive performance landscape, including key events, series, athletes, and communities
  • Experience operating within a multi-brand or division-based organization
  • Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and content workflows
  • Advanced understanding of social media platforms and the active use of them.
  • Resourceful and able to troubleshoot issues.

Responsibilities

  • Support the execution and day-to-day management of digital marketing campaigns across social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels, ensuring campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance using platform analytics, identifying trends and making data-driven recommendations to improve engagement, efficiency, and overall results.
  • Assist in testing new platform features, formats, and targeting strategies, documenting results and sharing insights to support ongoing campaign optimization.
  • Prepare and share regular performance updates and insights with marketing leadership, contributing to a clear understanding of campaign effectiveness and opportunities for improvement.
  • Execute digital marketing plans for new product launches, supporting initiatives across all stages of the marketing funnel (awareness, consideration, and conversion) to drive customer engagement and sales.
  • Manage brand inboxes and community engagement across social media platforms, automotive forums, Facebook Groups, Reddit, and other enthusiast communities, ensuring timely, accurate, and brand-aligned communication.
  • Respond to comments, direct messages, mentions, and technical questions with a helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable tone, providing accurate product guidance, basic troubleshooting support, and escalating complex or technical issues to appropriate internal teams.
  • Actively participate in automotive enthusiast communities by engaging in conversations around builds, racing, upgrades, and industry trends, helping position the brand as a trusted and authentic voice within the space.
  • Monitor community discussions to identify emerging trends, product feedback, and customer sentiment, sharing actionable insights with marketing, product, and customer support teams to improve offerings and messaging.
  • Foster strong relationships with enthusiasts, builders, and influencers (via our Sponsor / Influencer Management Staff) by recognizing user-generated content, encouraging community participation, and supporting a positive brand presence across both owned and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure all community interactions reflect brand voice and values while maintaining credibility and authenticity within highly technical and passion-driven automotive audiences.
  • Collaborate with go-to-market, content, influencer, and paid media teams to integrate assets into social campaigns and product launches, ensuring consistent messaging and coordinated rollout across platforms.
  • Publish and manage Go-To-Market related content across owned social channels, optimizing posts for each platform (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.) to drive engagement and visibility.
  • Monitor social performance of sponsorship activations and campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to improve reach, engagement, and overall effectiveness.
  • Represent Holley Performance Brands at sponsored events, races, and activations, ensuring a consistent and compelling brand presence
  • Build relationships across the automotive performance ecosystem, staying closely connected to industry trends and emerging opportunities
