About The Position

CorePower Yoga is looking for a Social Media Marketing Intern to support the marketing team on social media and partnership projects. This is an unpaid, temporary role for college students seeking academic credit, running from May through December 2026, requiring 15-20 hours per week. Requirements

  • Marketing, communications or social media experience or equivalent educational path.
  • Access to a laptop computer and mobile phone.
  • Strong written (creative, editing) and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding of brand-appropriate language and ability to follow brand guidelines.
  • Familiarity with filming and editing short-form content for Reels/TikTok.
  • Ability to stay organized and attend to details.
  • A self-driven team player who takes initiative.
  • Affinity for and understanding of the CorePower Yoga brand, and yoga and fitness industries.
  • Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize while working under multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary position, move and walk around event and office spaces, and lift occasionally up to 25 lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Canva a plus, but not required.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Sprout Social, Asana and Canva is also useful.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Social Media Team in scheduling the monthly social calendar in Sprout Social and posting directly on social channels.
  • Support the Social Media Team in brainstorming post ideas using social trends and competitive brand research, including concepts for brand campaigns and key social holidays.
  • Assist in sourcing and curating user-generated content (UGC) to feature across brand social platforms.
  • Support as needed with planning, filming and/or editing short-form content for Reels/TikTok.
  • Help grow brand love on social channels through IG Story reshares and responding to public-facing comments, flagging customer experience or PR concerns.
  • Create UTM URL tags for social posts and assist the Social Media Team with reporting.
  • Create and post Stories following the calendar and for ad hoc social amplification needs.
  • Support the Social Media Team with creative briefing needs and content calendar planning for organic social, using Asana.
  • Generate captions for social posts by pulling in deck copy or drafting as needed.
  • Review and provide feedback for social media creative.
