About The Position

Oscar Stone is seeking a Social Media Marketing Assistant Manager to join their team. This role involves assisting in the management of the company's social media accounts and daily digital presence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across various social media platforms, featuring jewelry, products, promotions, events, stores, employees, and company initiatives. The position also requires assisting with photography, video recording, editing, and short-form video content, while staying current with social media trends and strategies. The Assistant Manager will support the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns, coordinate content calendars, and collaborate with various teams to identify content opportunities. Responsibilities include monitoring customer engagement, tracking social media performance, preparing reports, and assisting with paid social media advertising. Ensuring brand consistency and coordinating with outside vendors are also key aspects of this role. Additionally, the Assistant Manager will support the Marketing Manager with day-to-day responsibilities and special projects, and may be asked to appear in social media content. Maintaining professionalism and protecting confidential information is essential.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in social media marketing, digital marketing, content creation, or a related field preferred.
Experience managing business social media accounts.
Strong knowledge of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other emerging platforms.
Experience creating short-form video and social media content.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
Ability to understand and represent a luxury jewelry brand appropriately.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Basic understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.

Nice To Haves

Photography and video-editing experience is a plus.
Retail, jewelry, luxury goods, or fashion industry experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing Oscar Stone’s social media accounts and daily digital presence.
Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms.
Develop content featuring jewelry, products, promotions, events, stores, employees, and company initiatives.
Assist with photography, video recording, editing, and short-form video content.
Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content strategies.
Support the development and execution of social media marketing campaigns.
Help create content calendars and maintain consistent posting schedules.
Collaborate with management, sales teams, and store locations to identify content opportunities.
Coordinate social media promotions, product launches, special events, and seasonal campaigns.
Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and customer engagement and escalate issues when necessary.
Track social media performance, engagement, reach, and audience growth.
Prepare basic social media reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
Assist with paid social media advertising campaigns and promotional initiatives.
Ensure all content follows Oscar Stone’s branding, messaging, and company standards.
Help maintain consistent brand presentation across all social media platforms.
Coordinate with outside vendors, photographers, influencers, or marketing partners when needed.
Assist with marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and other digital marketing projects.
Support the Marketing Manager with day-to-day marketing responsibilities and special projects.
Be willing to appear in or assist with social media content when appropriate.
Maintain professionalism and protect confidential company and customer information.
Assist the Marketing Manager with organizing and delegating marketing-related tasks.
Help ensure deadlines and campaign objectives are met.
Provide guidance and support to team members involved in social media and content creation.
Take ownership of assigned marketing projects from planning through completion.
Identify opportunities to improve Oscar Stone’s social media presence and customer engagement.
Communicate effectively with management regarding campaign progress, challenges, and results.
