About The Position

We're looking for a strategic, creative, and highly organized Social Media Manager to own and manage Blade HQ's presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and emerging platforms. This role executes Blade HQ's social media strategy across platforms while bringing platform-specific expertise , experimentation, and performance insights that help strengthen and evolve our approach over time.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business
  • Demonstrated success improving engagement and growing social platforms
  • Strong short-form content creation skills (Reels, TikToks , Stories)
  • Comfortable and confident appearing on camera
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube platform dynamics, including discoverability and retention principles
  • Experience using social scheduling and analytics tools (Sprout, Hootsuite, Iconosquare , or similar)
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills in the E nglish language
  • Comfortable filming and capturing content in real-time environments
  • Travel required to a m inimum of three trade shows annually ( includes overnight stays, and weekends)
  • Typical office environment , computer and desk work. Studio space provided .

Responsibilities

  • Platform Strategy & Channel Management
  • Execute and optimize social media strategy aligned with brand and campaign direction
  • Manage the social publishing calendar in collaboration with the Campaign Manager and Creative team
  • Schedule and publish content across platforms using social management tools
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels
  • Stay current on algorithm updates and platform changes, adapting strategy accordingly
  • Contribute platform-native insights and best practices to help refine and improve reach, engagement, and overall platform performance
  • Content Creation & On-Camera Presence
  • Concept, create, and produce scroll-stopping Reels, TikToks , Stories, and static posts that showcase our product and community
  • Capture mobile-first content at events, trade shows, launches, and in-office moments
  • Collaborate with the video team to distribute and optimize produced content for social platforms
  • Support product launches and drops with well-timed, high-impact social campaigns
  • Performance & Growth Optimization
  • Own performance metrics including reach, engagement, retention, and follower growth
  • Analyze content performance to refine hooks, formats, and messaging
  • Test new creative approaches and iterate quickly based on results
  • Optimize captions, posting cadence, and content structure for maximum discoverability
  • Community Engagement & Brand Voice
  • Actively engage with followers through comments and direct messages
  • Foster an enthusiastic, gear-driven online community
  • Represent the Blade HQ brand voice consistently and authentically across platforms
  • Identify collaboration opportunities with creators and partners to expand reach
