About The Position

We're looking for a Social Media Lead to own FLORA's voice, growth, and presence on Instagram, X, and LinkedIn. You'll be responsible for growing our followership and turning social into a true growth engine for the business. You'll orchestrate our social presence (including product launches, creator collaborations, industry commentary, and growth experiments) into a consistent rhythm that builds our brand. You'll moderate our channels, track what competitors are doing, and ensure FLORA stays ahead. This is a high-ownership, autonomous role. You'll write compelling copy, create content, and post independently. You own how FLORA shows up on social media and are trusted to make brand decisions in real-time.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building or scaling social channels, ideally somewhere with a strong creative community
  • Demonstrated ability to grow accounts and create high-performing content
  • Strong copywriter who can craft compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement
  • Able to shape brand perception through consistent, authentic voice
  • Understand what works on X vs. Instagram vs. LinkedIn (algorithms, formats, trends)
  • Tailor content for each platform while maintaining brand consistency
  • You’ve made content go viral and understand what makes people share
  • Track performance, analyze data, and optimize for growth
  • Treat social as a business growth lever, not just brand awareness
  • Ship quickly, iterate based on feedback, comfortable with ambiguity
  • Operate independently without waiting for permission
  • Trusted to post without oversight while maintaining brand consistency
  • Balance experimentation with brand standards
  • You can create content yourself (video editing, design, FLORA)
  • Follow AI and creative tech trends, know what our audience cares about
  • Act like an owner: high standards, proactive, accountable for results
  • Excited about FLORA's mission and spreading our vision

Responsibilities

  • Own strategy, content, and growth across Instagram, X (Twitter), and LinkedIn
  • Drive follower growth and turn social into a top-of-funnel acquisition channel that converts audiences into FLORA signups
  • Run experiments, analyze metrics, and optimize for engagement and reach
  • Build repeatable content systems that drive consistent output and results
  • Be the voice of FLORA - write sharp, engaging copy that sounds distinctly like us
  • Shape our narrative and create content that resonates with our community
  • Post independently with strong brand judgment
  • Craft posts, threads, and videos that get shared and drive meaningful engagement
  • Stay plugged into AI, creative tools, and internet culture
  • Spot timely moments and turn them into high-performing content
  • Create content yourself or guide Creative Producers to execute your vision
  • Write threads, edit videos, design graphics—whatever's needed to ship quality content fast
  • Iterate quickly based on what works
  • Track AI news, creative tech trends, and competitive landscape
  • Synthesize insights into content opportunities and strategic recommendations
