About The Position

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for a student or early-career professional passionate about social media, branding, and design. You will assist in managing and growing Jones’ social media presence across multiple platforms.

Requirements

Strong interest in social media marketing and design.
Familiarity with major social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Currently enrolled in a college marketing program or recent graduate preferred.

Nice To Haves

Basic knowledge of content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok and Facebook.
Manage social media content tool such as Brandwatch
Work cross-functionally with different departments (Safety, National Team, Major Projects, etc.) to gather content ideas and assets, ensure accuracy and relevance of posts, and obtain necessary approvals before publishing.
Research industry trends and contribute ideas for posts that align with Jones’ brand and voice.
Adhere to the Jones Brand Guidelines using defined color palette, fonts and design styles.
Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments/messages as directed.
Help track analytics and performance metrics to optimize content strategy.
Bring forward ideas to improve reach, engagement, or content quality based on trends or data.
Collaborate with the marketing team on campaigns and special projects.
Stay up to date with social media best practices and emerging trends.
Assist with additional marketing projects assigned.
