Social Media Digital Content Specialist
About The Position
Butler County Community College (BC3) is currently accepting applications for the position of Social Media & Digital Content Specialist. This is a regular full-time position that will begin immediately. Hours vary based on need. Evening and weekend availability required for event coverage and time-sensitive content monitoring. Reporting to the Executive Director of Communications and Marketing, the Social Media & Digital Content Specialist will develop and manage engaging content across the college's social media channels, fostering community engagement and supporting the college's broader digital marketing and brand strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred from an accredited institution in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, Journalism, or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three years of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing required.
- Experience with social media management and analytics platforms required.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools required.
Nice To Haves
- Marketing and communications background preferred.
