Social Media Coordinator

Skilled Wound CareLos Angeles, CA
Onsite

About The Position

At Skilled Wound Care, we don't just fill positions — we build teams of passionate people who are changing the way wound care is delivered across the country. We're a leading national surgical physician group serving nursing homes nationwide, and we're growing fast. Now, we're looking for an organized, creative, and driven Social Media Coordinator to help us grow and manage our digital presence. In this role, you'll be the voice behind our social channels — planning content, engaging our audience, and making sure Skilled Wound Care shows up consistently and professionally across every platform. If you love social media, understand what makes content perform, and want to do meaningful work in healthcare, this is the role for you. You'll work closely with our recruitment and marketing teams and have real input into how we show up online. Every day will bring something new — and that's exactly how we like it.

Requirements

  • Organized and detail-oriented — you can manage a content calendar and hit deadlines consistently.
  • 0–2 years of experience in social media coordination, digital marketing, or a related field, with a portfolio or examples of past work.
  • Familiar with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok — you know what performs on each platform and why.
  • Comfortable creating basic graphics using Canva or similar design tools.
  • Able to shoot and lightly edit short-form video content using tools like CapCut or similar.
  • A solid writer who can adapt tone — from professional on LinkedIn to conversational on Instagram.
  • A collaborative team player who communicates well and can also work independently when needed.
  • Genuinely curious about healthcare and motivated by work that makes a real difference.
  • Based in Los Angeles, CA and willing to travel minimally for company events.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a consistent posting schedule across all social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
  • Create and source engaging content — including graphics, short-form videos, and copy — that aligns with our brand voice and recruitment goals.
  • Write clear, on-brand captions and social copy that feels human, not corporate.
  • Monitor social channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
  • Track performance metrics and provide regular reports on content reach, engagement, and growth.
  • Support the recruitment team by creating social content that attracts and connects with physicians nationwide.
  • Assist at company events and physician retreats to capture content and document key moments.
  • Stay current on social media trends and platform updates and bring fresh ideas to the team.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content is timely, purposeful, and on-brand.

Benefits

  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Generous 401(k) plan
  • Paid Time Off
  • Life Insurance
  • Continued Education opportunities
