NY Preschool & Kids Club is a leading provider of early childhood education and private enrichment classes committed to physical, intellectual, and social experiences for children from 8 weeks to 12 years old. Through innovative preschool, exciting classes, creative camps, one-of-a-kind birthday celebrations and events, our approach inspires each child’s inherent love of learning in a fun and energetic environment. JOB SUMMARY We are seeking a dynamic Social Media Video Coordinator who excels at blending strategic thinking and creativity. In this role you will increase visibility and engagement for NY Preschool & Kids Club by producing compelling short-form video content, developing engaging social media campaigns, and elevating our brand storytelling. Your primary focus will be content creation for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms. The ideal candidate is a creative storyteller who enjoys producing high-impact content, stays up to date on digital trends, and brings fresh ideas to how we share the NYPKC experience. This is a part-time role of 10-15 hours per week. It is a hybrid position requiring regular in-person collaboration across our NYC school locations to create content.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years of social media, video, and content creation experience.
Excellent copywriting and content creation skills.
Ability to shoot and edit short-form video content.
Ability to work around media permission rules with certain program participants.
Passion for storytelling, community engagement, and enriching childhood experiences.

Nice To Haves

Experience in related industries or content is preferred!
Experience working with children or family-centered programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute content to grow NY Preschool & Kids Club’s organic social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
In partnership with the Marketing Specialist, manage and maintain NYPKC’s social media accounts.
Create high-quality, on-brand content including graphics, short-form video, and copy that showcases our community, classes, and joyful experiences.
Collaborate with on-site teams to capture authentic classroom moments and family stories that bring the NYPKC brand to life.
Prioritize the creation of vertical video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok, leveraging these platforms as key drivers of growth and engagement.
