About The Position

We are looking for a creative Freelance Social Media Content Creator to support our Japan market initiatives by developing engaging, culturally relevant content for social platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong social media instincts with hands-on illustration skills, particularly in manga-inspired visual storytelling, to create content that resonates with Japanese audiences. You will work closely with the marketing team to develop social media assets that increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience connection across relevant channels.

Requirements

• Proven experience creating social media content for the Japanese market or Japanese audiences.
• Strong illustration skills with experience in manga, anime-inspired, or character-based artwork.
• Portfolio demonstrating social media content creation and visual storytelling abilities.
• Understanding of Japanese pop culture, online communities, and digital content trends.
• Experience designing content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, or similar channels.
• Ability to balance creativity with marketing objectives.
• Strong written and visual communication skills.
