Roger Williams University's Marketing & Communications (MarCom) team seeks a creative, organized, and collaborative Social Media Content Coordinator to manage the University's day-to-day social media presence and serve as the operational link among the Communications, Marketing, and Creative Services teams. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Digital Marketing, this position coordinates the planning, creation, publishing, and performance of content across the University's official social media channels, ensuring every post aligns with institutional priorities, brand standards, and campaign objectives. Working within the University's centralized client-service model, this role partners with communications professionals, marketing strategists, designers, photographers, videographers, and academic and administrative partners to translate university stories into engaging digital content. The Social Media Content Coordinator oversees the execution of the university's social media calendar, identifies emerging storytelling opportunities, monitors audience engagement, and helps ensure consistent messaging across undergraduate recruitment, graduate recruitment, the School of Law, Extension School, Advancement, CEED, and institutional brand initiatives. This is an entry-level, on-campus position requiring flexibility to capture campus life, major events, and university announcements, including occasional evening and weekend work.
